Grandpop's Workshop is my favorite place to be when I'm not busy golfing, going to the gym, traveling, or spending time with Grandma Lou-Ann.
I always wanted to get into serious woodworking when I retired, and my son-in-law Lane Woodard started me off with a gift of a Shopsmith from his grandfather's estate. I've added many tools, remodeled my workshop, upgraded the Shopsmith, and now have virtually all of the tools that I need.
When I retired on 3-16-2012, I went to several wood working classes at William Ng Woodworking School and the Woodcraft Store. I'm getting pretty proficient at all types of woodworking from workbenches, to bowls, and of course toys for the grandkids. My Shopsmith has never let me down. It takes up relatively little space and I have learned how to get good results every time. Continue to the Gallery to see photos of projects I've made.
